LBCI sources: Saudi-Egyptian push urges unified Lebanese position ahead of Washington talks

Saudi Arabia, in coordination with Egypt, is intensifying diplomatic efforts to ensure a unified Lebanese position ahead of anticipated talks in Washington, according to information reported by LBCI.

The coordinated move stresses the importance of alignment among Lebanon's three presidencies as a top priority during this phase, amid growing regional and domestic challenges.

Sources said the Saudi-Egyptian initiative also emphasizes the need to agree on a common framework outlining the principles of the expected negotiations between Lebanon and Israel.

In addition, the efforts highlight the necessity of safeguarding civil peace within Lebanon and preventing the country from becoming a source of threat to Arab national security or a driver of regional instability.
