The political divisions overshadowed Eid al-Fitr in Egypt, as the interim President Adli Mansour held prayers with Defense Minister Abdel Fattah al-Sisi at Cairo’s Mosque, stressing that Egypt is witnessing critical conditions.                

On the other hand, hundreds of Egyptians who are opponents of ousted President Mohammad Morsi spent the holiday in Tahrir Square amid intensive security measures.
