REPORT: Wedding preparations impose threat on Bcharreh's Cedars Forest

Only few meters aside from the Cedars Forest in Bcharreh, bulldozers are settling the ground and transporting rocks and gravel in preparation for the wedding ceremony of William Tawk, the son of Former Deputy Gebran Tawk.

The preparation activities began across the forest almost 2 months ago in a bid to lay ground for an outdoor venue that is to become the scene of the wedding.

This report will shed light on the preparation activities carried out across the Cedars Forest in Bcharreh, as well as the dangers imposed by these activities on the forest.
