REPORT: Seven months pregnant woman murdered inside her home

The lifeless body of a Lebanese woman, identified as Aida Ghourani, was found inside her home located in the village of Meryata, Zgharta, north Lebanon.

The woman appears to have been killed with the use of a sharp object to the neck and is said to have been seven months pregnant.

Security forces rushed to the scene of the crime and launched investigations to reveal the circumstances of the murder.

In information made available to LBCI, an unknown woman went into Gharouni’s house in Meryata asking for aid, however killed her and stole her jewelry and cash instead.
