REPORT: Security Forces raid warehouse containing expired food items

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces- Public Relations Bureau declared on Monday that security forces raided a warehouse containing expired food items in the area of al-Basatin, Mount Lebanon.

A device to print new expiry dates was also found inside the warehouse.
The Directorate noted that the owner of the warehouse was arrested and identified as M.N. (born on 1984, Lebanese citizen).

Among the seized expired products were olive oil, pasta, pickles, jam, vinegar and rice.

Concerned authorities launched investigations in this regard.
