REPORT: Online demonstration for peace, from Beirut to the world

On the 21st of September of every year, the world celebrates the International Peace Day in different activities and events performed under different themes for peace.

This year, the United Nations Information Center in Beirut (UNIC-Beirut) in partnership with JWT, Touch, and Born Interactive companies, decided to commemorate the day in Lebanon under the theme of Tolerance for Peace.

In this regard, the aforementioned companies and UNIC-Beirut are asking world wide citizens to participate in the world’s first online demonstration.

This report will shed light on the International Peace Day as well as the first online demonstration.
