REPORT: Syrian groups warn of mass starvation in Damascus

Syrian groups warned of the risk of mass starvation across the country, especially in the besieged Damascus suburbs where an alleged gas attack killed hundreds on the 21st of August.

Relief organizations said more than 4 million Syrians, half of whom are children; do not have access to an adequate food supply.

In addition to this, food shortages worsened with a sharp rise in prices.

This report will examine the condition of Syrians in light of the increasing food prices and the ongoing crisis.
