REPORT: Pharmacist Wissam al-Khatib kidnapped in Zahle

The state-run National News Agency reported on Sunday that unknown armed men kidnapped a pharmacist on Sunday moring in the city of Zahle.

The agency added that Wissam al-Khatib was abducted while he was opening his pharmacy located on the main road of the town of Karak.

Al-Khatib reportedly escaped an attempt to kidnap him one month ago.

No further information were given in this regard.
