REPORT: US officials confirm capture of al-Qaeda figure Abu Anas al-Liby

US officials confirmed on Monday that the senior al Qaeda figure Nazih al-Ragye, better known by the cover name Abu Anas al-Liby was captured in Libya and then taken onto a Navy ship in the Mediterranean Sea.

The officials said al-Liby is being held aboard the USS San Antonio, an amphibious transport dock ship.

This report will shed light on the profile of Anas al-Liby as well as reasons behind his capture.
