REPORT: Sources to LBCI: LAF arrests 20 persons in Tripoli's Shreidi complex

Security sources told LBCI on Thursday that Lebanese Armed Forces units in coordination with Palestinian factions, raided the Shreidi complex in Jabal al-Baddawi, near the Baddawi camp in the northern city of Tripoli.

The army forces searched several buildings inside the complex, where they confiscated weapons and ammunition, and arrested on Wednesday 11 persons on charges of being involved in one of the attacks that targeted Lebanon.

This as the Lebanese army also arrested another 9 persons today in the said complex.

The same security sources told LBCI that the Palestinian Security Committee was suspicious on the Syrian residents in the complex, adding that the Committee gathered information about the residents with the assistance of the Danish Council and notified the Lebanese army about the collected information to act accordingly.

The arrestees were all transferred to al-Qobbeh barracks to launch investigations.
