REPORT: Russia urges Lebanon to address terrorism

Russian Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Zasypkin received on Friday a delegation of Hezbollah which included foreign relations official Ammar Moussawi and politburo member Mahmoud Qmati who offered condolences to the families of the victims of Volgograd's bombing.

Following the meeting, Moussawi said the visit comes within the framework of continuous meetings to tackle bilateral relations and issues of common interest.

For his part, Zasypkin said that terrorism is seeking to destabilize Lebanon and Russia by intimidating people and sowing chaos and strife.

This report will shed light on the stance of Russia pertaining the terrorism hitting both Lebanon and Russia.
