REPORT: Egypt police boost security at churches ahead of Coptic Christmas

Millions of Egyptian Christians filled churches across the mainly Muslim nation for Christmas Mass on Monday, which was held amid unusually tight security.

Security was stepped up, with Egyptian security officers deployed around churches, in response to fears that Islamic militants loyal to ousted President Mohammed Morsi would target churches while the late evening prayers were in progress.
