REPORT: Speaker Berri says has patience in dealing with obstacles

Speaker Nabih Berri said on Wednesday that contacts are ongoing to form a new government.

He also added that he has patience in dealing with obstacles, noting that the "fait accompli government" isolates all political leaders.

For his part, MP Ali Khreis told LBCI that the statement issued by the Future movement tempered the positive signs pertaining to the formation of a new government, noting that there are "wise men" in the Future movement who want to solve the pending issues.

Lebanese leaders are sharply divided over various political issues, such as the formation of a new government, the electoral law that would govern the upcoming parliamentary elections, the presidential elections and the Syrian civil war.
