REPORT: Will non-adherence to the Baabda Declaration have repercussions on Lebanon?

Upon a unanimous consensus on June 11th 2012, during a dialogue session, the Baabda Declaration was issued, including 17 items, chief among which disassociating Lebanon from the regional and international conflicts and controlling the Lebanese-Syrian borders.

After its issuance, all the Lebanese parties agreed to commit to the statement’s items, while informing the United Nations and the Arab league of its content.
