REPORT: Relatives of persons missing after battles of Syria’s al-Hosn stage sit-in at al-Arida crossing

The relatives of the persons missing after the battles of al-Hosn town in Syria staged Friday a protest at al-Arida border crossing, calling on the authorities to help reveal their fate.

The army seized the medieval fortress last week after fierce fighting in the nearby village of Al-Hosn in central Syria, routing rebels who had captured it in July 2011.
