REPORT: Dangerous terrorist Sami al-Atrash killed by LAF in Arsal

The body of Sami al-Atrash was transported on Friday from Dar al-Amal University Hospital in Baalbek to his hometown Arsal amid tight security measures.

Sources told LBCI that the Lebanese army released the owner of the house which harbored fugitive Sami al-Atrash.

The house owner Ali Younes Ezzeddine and his brothers were not involved with al-Atrash.

Fugitive Sami al-Atrash was killed on Thursday in a shootout as the Lebanese army raided the house of Ezzeddine in the border town of Arsal.

Al-Atrash is accused of involvement in car bomb attacks that targeted several Lebanese regions.
