REPORT:Taxes on maritime properties raise controversy

The state-run National News Agency reported on Thursday that the Joint Parliamentary Committees approved adding taxes on maritime properties with a retroactive effect of five years.

Such step comes in a bid to fund the disputable new pay scale.
