REPORT: Deputies reveal their votes

The Parliament failed on Wednesday to elect a new president during the first round of the presidential elections, after the leader of the Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea received 48 votes, MP Henry Helo 16 votes and the head of the Kataeb party Amin Gemayel one vote. The deputies also casted 52 blank ballots and 7 votes were annulled.
