REPORT: PAC former employees continue movements, Rifi voices support to their demands
The committee tasked with following up on the case of PAC former employees met with Justice Minister Ashraf Rifi, and discussed the issue, while stressing that the contacts held with the concerned parties have not yielded to any positive outcome.

For his part, Rifi stressed his support for the former employees’ rightful demands, asking the committee to draft a report in this regard, in order for him to submit it to the concerned authorities.

Saudi Prince al-Walid Bin Talal has been abstaining from paying the compensations owed to the 400 employees who were laid off from PAC around nineteen months ago. 

PAC, a production company providing services for the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International, urged the Ministry of Labor on March 21 to hold consultations pertaining the laying off 397 employees. 

It cited “economic reasons” for the move, a justification that would allow the company to refuse to give compensations from the employees.
