REPORT: No quorum expected in Tuesday’s parliamentary session
The Christians deputies remain insistent on abiding by the article 75 of the Lebanese Constitution and which stipulates that “the Parliament meeting to elect the President of the Republic shall be considered an electoral body and not a legislative assembly; it must proceed immediately, without discussion of any other act, to elect the Head of the State.”

Accordingly, quorum should not be expected to the guaranteed in the session set to be held on Tuesday to discuss the series of ranks and salaries.
