REPORT: Education Minister Bou Saab postpones official exams for 5 days

Education Minister Elias Bou Saab stated on Monday that all official exams will be postponed for 5 days.

In a press conference held after meeting with a delegation from the Union Coordinating Committee, Minister Bou Saab pointed out that he will be taking into account the interests of the students.

He also expressed his hope that the cabinet pass the series of ranks and salaries during its session on the 10th of June, emphasizing that he will not refrain from supporting the teachers who have a righteous demand.

The UCC staged a sit-in on Monday in Cornishe al-Mazraa, as part of their escalatory measures urging the state to endorse the wage scale.
