MP Marwan Hamadeh said Monday that the agenda of the upcoming legislative session set to be held next Wednesday has been drafted, hoping that the pay scale draft law, which constitutes a priority, will be passed within the standards of financial balance.
Following the meeting of the parliament’s bureau committee under the chairmanship of the speaker Nabih Berri in Ain al-Tineh, Hamadeh noted that the issue of the extension of the parliament’s mandate was not tackled, stressing that Berri and the committee’s members reached agreement over all the topics discussed during the meeting.
The meeting was attended by deputies Marwan Haamdeh, Michel Moussa, Antoine Zahra, Serge Torsarkissian and Ahmad Fatfat, as well as the parliament’s Secretary General Adnan Daher.
