REPORT: Civil society activists to protest possible extension of parliament’s mandate

The Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE) stressed on Tuesday the necessity of holding the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections within a constitutional framework, stating that civil society activists will be holding a protest on Wednesday (October 01) to denounce the possible extension of parliament’s mandate.
