During the ceremony held to lay the foundation stone of Michel Sleiman’s public hospital in the Jbeil town of Mayfouq, Sleiman pointed out that the Baabda Declaration is “the written interpretation to the unwritten national pact,” stressing that some parties are attempting to abolish it.
This as he called for hastening the trials and the issuance of verdicts against the Islamist inmates in Roumieh prison, pointing out that an amnesty decree can be issued.
