REPORT: President election session adjourned until November 19
House Speaker Nabih Berri adjourned on Wednesday the parliamentary session aimed at electing a new president until the 19th of November.

Lebanon has plunged into presidential vacuum following the end of former President Michel Sleiman's mandate on May 25.

Several electoral sessions were held, but parliament has failed so far to elect a new head of state due to lack of quorum.

Last year, the parliament extended its mandate to November 2014 citing security reasons as the motive.
