A dispute erupted between the Free Patriotic Movement and the Lebanese Forces students at Notre Dame University (NDU), on the backdrop of raising electoral banners two days prior to the students’ elections held at the university for the first time in three years, due to the boycott of the Free Patriotic Movement.
The dispute started outside the school of engineering and then developed and moved to the university’s main square, where it escalated to a brawl between the students, leading the security team to interfere and put an end to the conflict.
