REPORT: Dairy factory shut down amid food corruption scandal

Members of the Chtaura police station closed on Saturday night the Taanayel Center, a dairy factory in Bar Elias, and sealed it with red wax upon the order of Bekaa General Prosecutor Farid Kallas.

LBCI crew inspected on Sunday morning the factory that was shut down with the storekeeper refusing to talk in front of the camera.

"Observers from the Ministry of Health did not take samples from the factory's cooler," the storekeeper said, adding "we were surprised when members of the Internal Security Forces arrived yesterday to close the factory with red wax".
