Ep12: KAFA's Zalfa says...

As part of our effort to shed light on women's rights in Lebanon, LBCI will be broadcasting a 30 second segment on the nightly news bulletin over a span of 16 days.

Zalfa, a character created by KAFA (Enough Violence & Exploitation), will be explaining the inner workings of the law against domestic violence in a bid to raise awareness on law 293.

In tonight's segment Zalfa says:

The first restraining order we will tackle today was renewed for three times for the benefit of the woman, her children and her mother-in-law. Each time the aggressor was forced out of his house for a period of 2 weeks.

The second order obliged the aggressor to provide the expenses of his wife and kids throughout the period he is out of his house.

Watch us tomorrow for further clarifications on the law against domestic violence.
