REPORT: PM Salam says cabinet doing its utmost to secure the release of Arsal hostages
Prime Minister Tammam Salam received on Monday a number of Future Movement deputies and tackled with them the latest local developments as well as the situation in the northeastern border town of Arsal.

During the meeting, officials stressed the necessity of maintaining the security situation in the said town.

In the same regard PM Salam told the Grand Serail employees and reporters that “the Lebanese government is doing its utmost to secure the release of the kidnapped troops while preserving the country’s dignity.”

Earlier, PM Salam held talks at the Grand Serail with the US Ambassador to Lebanon David Hale and UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Derek Plumbly who hailed the dialogue session held between the Future Movement and Hezbollah.
