The minister toured the port of Tripoli, accompanied by the port’s manager Ahmad Tamer, member of board of directors Mahmoud Salhab and a delegation of inspectors from the Health Ministry.
During a press conference, Abou Faour said that a large quantity of the expired sugar has been sold to the Lebanese market, urging for pulling these products from the market as soon as possible.
On another note, Minister Abou Faour announced a plan regarding the establishment of a permanent center for the Health Ministry at the port, stressing the need to help the city of Tripoli in its developmental projects. For more details, watch Raneem Bou Khzam's report in the video above
