REPORT: Lebanon mayors react to Naameh landfill extension

A meeting was held on Tuesday afternoon at the Naameh municipality in the presence of several mayors with talks featuring high on a cabinet decision to extend the deadline for closing the town's infamous landfill.

Following the meeting, the attendees stressed the need to close the Naameh landfill on January 17 with the town’s mayor saying a meeting is set to be held Wednesday at the National Struggle Front leader MP Walid Jumblatt’s residence to reexamine the file.
