Lebanon’s Foreign Ministry condemns alleged IRGC actions as violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty

Lebanon’s Foreign Ministry said it “condemns the unacceptable actions carried out by members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, which constitute a violation of the sovereignty of the sisterly State of Kuwait, the integrity of its territory, and a breach of international law, the U.N. Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness.”

In a statement, the ministry reaffirmed its “categorical rejection of any attempts that threaten the stability of Arab states or undermine their national security.”

It also reiterated “Lebanon’s full solidarity with the sisterly State of Kuwait and its support for all measures it takes to safeguard its security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.”
