REPORT: Three Syrian children die in Akkar blaze

The state-run National News Agency reported on Thursday that three Syrian refugee children died on Thursday from a fire that erupted in their tent in the northern region of Akkar.

The agency added that the reason behind the fire was an electrical wire friction at a tent in the Bhannine town in the Minieh-Dinnieh region.

The victims were identified as Rawaa, Sabah, and Talal Suleiman.

The bodies of the children were transferred to the al-Khair hospital in al-Minieh and an investigation has been launched in the incident.
