REPORT: Kamed al-Lawz residents call for release of girl arrested for writing anti-army slogans

The residents of the Bekaa town of Kamed al-Lawz staged a sit-in in the courtyard of the town’s mosque following Friday’s prayers, to protest against the arrest of citizen Mira Fares by the Lebanese Army Intelligence, for writing anti-LAF and pro-Islamic State comments on Facebook.

The protesters called on the concerned authorities to release the young girl and hold accountable those who arrested her.
