REPORT: Protesters reject measures against school director accused of assaulting students

Barja residents staged on Saturday a sit-in to protest against the sacking of the Dimas school director on the backdrop of claims that he assaulted two students who were eating in class.

Protesters hoisted banners urging Education Minister Elias Bou Saab to back down on his decision but the latter stressed that he will not tolerate such practices.
