REPORT: Seven people hospitalized after eating spoiled meat in Akkar
The state-run National News Agency reported on Friday that seven residents from Akkar’s Hasnieh are in stable condition at the Rahal Hospital after having suffered from food poisoning after eating spoiled meat.

The agency added that all seven residents were admitted to the hospital late on Thursday because of high fever, diarrhea and vomiting after eating meat they had bought from a local butcher.

The latest cases bring the total number of people who had suffered from food poisoning during the last week to 70, according to the agency.
