REPORT: Speaker Berri says Lebanon must remain vigilant in the face of Israeli threats
Speaker Nabih Berri said on Wednesday that Lebanon must remain vigilant in the face of Israeli threats against the country.

Berri’s comments were made during his weekly meeting with MPs whereby he noted that the Lebanese people are divided while Israel is carrying out military drills on the border.

Earlier, Berri postponed the parliamentary session aimed at electing a new president until June 24 due to lack of quorum.

Lebanon officially entered presidential vacuum on May 25, 2014 after the six-year term of former President Michel Sleiman expired.
