REPORT: 9 out of 16 activists released on bail
Lebanon’s Military Court approved on Wednesday the release of 9 activists who were arrested following the riots that took place in Downtown Beirut on August 29.

The activists were all released on bail that varied between 100 and 200 LBP.

Earlier, the relatives of the activists blocked the road in front the Military Court towards Beirut’s Cola region.

Shortly after, the relatives reopened the road, pointing out that they will wait for their attorney to submit a request to release the arrestees.

At the request of security forces, a delegation representing the relatives of the detainees held talks with the Head of the Military Court, Major General Khalil Ibrahim.

It is worth noting that 16 activists were arrested following the riots that took place on August 29.
