REPORT: Progressive Youth Organization unveils corruption in LU, Ogero

The Progressive Youth Organization raised question marks over reports of forging diplomas at the Lebanese University and bribing the professors,” adding that “there is only one company that takes over all the tenders at the university.”

In a press conference, the organization tackled the issue of Ogero, stating that the company’s General Director Abel Menhem Youssef could spy on all phone calls.

“Is Ogero a company that manages a public matter or is it an isolated island?”

In this regard, the youth organization asked “how can the Lebanese government sign a contract with an institution where the same person signed on behalf of both parties (in reference to Abdel Menhem Youssef)?”

In this regard, the organization noted that it will present all documents available concerning the issues of the Lebanese University and Ogero to the concerned judiciary.
