New measures at Beirut airport expected to reduce congestion

Travelers have been suffering from long hours of waiting at the lines for security search at the departure hall at Beirut International Airport.

But in a couple of weeks, the travelers will no longer suffer since the concerned authorities decided to remove the two checkpoints, allowing the travelers to head straight to the airline companies’ booths to receive their boarding passes and check in their luggage.

The travelers will then head to a checkpoint to scan their cabin bags before getting their passport stamped at the General Security booth.
