Miss Lebanon among the top 5 trending topics on Twitter

Once again, everyone’s attention was directed towards LBCI channel to watch the election of Miss Lebanon 2012.

The event this year was different than all other years; Rina Chibani was crowned Miss Lebanon 2012, and her twin sister, Romy Chibani was elected first runner-up.

Social media networks witnessed an exceptional night.

Due to the intensity of tweets and hash tags under the title “Miss Lebanon”, Miss Lebanon became on Saturday among the top 5 trending topics on Twitter.

It is worth mentioning that followers of Miss Lebanon on twitter increased by 40% on Saturday.

As for the social network Facebook, before and during the ceremony, followers of “Miss Lebanon” page increased by 50%.

Thousands of observers have expressed their admiration for the great ceremony and the newly elected Miss Lebanon.
