REPORT: Security apparatus brutally attacks dozens of Syrian workers

A security apparatus stormed the houses of dozens of Syrian workers on Sunday night in Achrafiyeh, where security forces started severely beating them and shouting sectarian and racist insults, without clearly knowing the reasons of such action.

It is worth mentioning that no one cared for these workers, except for few humanitarian organizations. The security forces chose the weakest side and attacked workers who remain neither involved nor innocent from all suspicions.

In this context, one of the workers who were attacked confirmed being severally beaten by security forces, noting in a statement to LBCI that “animals do not treat humans this way”. He pointed that he was beaten with sticks and rifle butts, stressing that he completely ignores the reason behind the attack.
