Lebanon embraces for a second lockdown: A look into the preparations

Caretaker Minister of Interior Mohamad Fahmi in an interview with LBCI on Friday that he submitted an alternative plan to the total lockdown but it was not approved for several reasons.

“If the Lebanese people do not abide by the decisions of the general mobilization the spread of the virus could not be curbed,” he added.

As for the ongoing fraud regarding the vehicles plates to evade the alternate circulation policy, Fahmi said that the violators will be brought to justice.
