Berri meets delegation of families of students abroad

Speaker Nabih Berri received on Monday in Ain el-Tineh a delegation from the families of Lebanese students abroad.

“The ball of the non-implementation of the student dollar law is the in court of the banks," Berri told his visitors.

“The provisions of the law are clear and are binding to be implemented without delay,” he added.

Berri also noted that banks evading the implementation of this law exposes them to legal and judicial prosecution, stressing that rumors about withdrawing or amending this law are “absolutely untrue.”
