REPORT: Facebook page for "Israeli Embassy" in Lebanon

A few day ago, an anonymous person have created a Facebook page entitled "Israel in Lebanese" (إسرائيل باللبنانية ).

The administrator claims that it is "the official page of the Israeli Embassy in the Lebanese Republic", stressing that its purpose is not political and only cultural.

The page calls for the normalization of the relations between the Israelis and the Lebanese and for "renouncing violence and seeking peace".

Many Lebanese were provoked by this page and demanded Israel to recognize the massacre the Israeli troops have committed against Arabs and to retreat from the Palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese territories they are currently occupying.

The page did not succeed in transferring its "message", however some supported the calls for peace.
