Mikati chairs meeting on ratio cards at Grand Serail-[REPORT]

Prime Minister Najib Mikati chaired on Monday a meeting at the Grand Serail to complete discussions over the ratio cards.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Saadeh al-Shami, Minister of Social Affairs Hector al-Hajjar , Minister of Economy Amin Salam, Minister of Finance Youssef al-Khalil, MP Nicolas Nahas, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Mahmoud Makkieh and Mikati's office director Jamal Karim.

Following the meeting, Minister al-Hajjar noted that details of the ratio card’s application mechanism were discussed.

“We overcame some obstacles and we hope that point of views will be unified in the upcoming hours to finish what needs to be finished,” he added.

For his part, Salam noted that work is ongoing to overcome all obstacles, stressing that efforts are being deployed to reach positive results.
