LF chief Geagea misses hearing over Beirut clashes-[REPORT]
Supporters of the Lebanese Forces party gathered on Wednesday morning in various cities to participate in the solidarity sit-in on the Bkerke-Maarab-Dlebta road.
 
The sit-in is organized to protest their party’s leader Samir Geagea being summoned for a hearing over Beirut’s deadly clashes.
 
Geagea had failed to turn up for a hearing at army intelligence over the clashes.
 
Later in the day, the file of the Lebanese Forces Party Leader Samir Geagea was sealed by the Lebanese Armed Forces Intelligence, and referred to military prosecution without issuing a subpoena or a search and investigation notice, according to information obtained by LBCI.
 
The military prosecution will then complete legal procedures according to the file’s content.
 
Geagea was summoned to the hearing amid claims by Hezbollah and its ally the Amal Movement that LF supporters shot dead seven of their followers in clashes on October 14.
