Lebanese Minister George Kordahi resigns to ease Gulf row-[REPORT]

Information Minister George Kordahi announced on Friday his resignation from the cabinet in a press conference, stressing that “the interest of Lebanon and its people is above his personal interest.”

Kordahi also spoke about new developments, referring to “French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to Saudi Arabia.”

He also explained that he understood from PM Najib Mikati, whom he met three days ago, that the French want him to resign before Macron's visit to Saudi Arabia in order to help open a dialogue with Saudi officials about Lebanon.
