Aoun discusses electricity transfer with Fayyad, Syrian Energy Minister and Syrian ambassador-[REPORT]

Syrian Energy Minister Ghassan al-Zamil informed on Tuesday President Michel Aoun after meeting him at the Baabda Presidential Palace that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad had given his directives to facilitate delivery of electricity to Lebanon.

"The agreement with Jordan and Syria is scheduled to start feeding the Electricité du Liban with more hours in the next two months," said Energy Minister Walid Fayyad following the meeting.

President Aoun had received Syrian Energy Minister Ghassan al-Zamil, his Lebanese counterpart Walid Fayyad and Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim Ali at Baabda Palace to discuss the transfer of electricity.
