Minister of Interior Bassam al-Mawlawi would have preferred if the Internal Security Forces Information Division's operation linked to spy networks had ended before it was announced.

After briefing the Cabinet on some broad facts concerning these networks in Monday's session, al-Mawlawi is still holding off on revealing any details pending the completion of the investigations.
